After ten years of work, the results of the second European Breeding Bird Atlas EBBA2 are now compiled in a book. The book is the most up-to-date source of information on distribution, abundance and change of bird populations in Europe. A tremendous effort by the European Bird Census Council and its partner organisations from 48 countries have made it possible.
The IOCongress® has convened every four years since 1884, bringing together the world’s ornithologists to share state of the art research. It reconvenes in Durban, South Africa, in 2022, after another successful congress in Vancouver, Canada, in 2018 with over 1200 delegates.
A new issue of the Flutter – the IOU Newsletter – has appeared. You will find new information about the IOCongress 2022, a message from the president, a contribution by our editor and more! Please have a look at the attached issue.
